Valentine Cloud Bread

Ingredients:

- 3 egg whites

- 40g caster sugar

- 12g cornflour (cornstarch)

- gel food colouring - pink, purple, blue

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Whip the egg whites with an electric mixer until they become frothy.

3. Gradually add the sugar (1 tablespoon at a time) while continuing to whip the egg whites until glossy and soft stiff peaks form.

4. Sift the cornflour over the whipped egg whites and gently whisk it in until incorporated.

5. Optional to colour the meringue. Add small amount of gel colour of your choice.

6. Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth with spatula forming into a shape you desire.

7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cloud bread is golden brown and set.

8. Let it cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
